Dear Students, we are sharing with you two important messages: the first one from the Vice-Rector of the Jagiellonian University for Educational Affairs prof. dr hab. Armen Edigarian, and the second one from the Vice-Dean for Education Affairs of the Faculty of International and Political Studies, dr hab. Paweł Laidler, prof. UJ.
The Message from the Vice-Rector
in relation to Jagiellonian University's authorities decision on the suspension of didactic classes from 11 until 25 March, I would like to reinforce the appeal of the Ministry of Health concerning responsible behaviour in this period of time.
I would like to appeal to you to refrain from going out. This period has to be considered as a time for quarantine. I would like to also ask you to handle any student issues with the university's administration remotely, via electronic mail, Teams application (available for free within the Office 365 package) and to limit direct contact.
At the same time, I would like to inform you that according to the information provided by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the validity of student identity cards, by virtue of a regulation, will be automatically extended until 31 May, without the necessity of visiting a secretary office.
Prof. dr hab. Armen Edigarian
Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs
