Dear TAS Students,
As you already know, Jagiellonian University, as well as all other universities in Poland, is closed for classes and is at the moment in the process of moving from regular classes to an e-learning teaching. Your professors will contact you in the upcoming days to discuss with you their ideas, tools, and ways of how to guarantee the continuation of courses through the remote learning system. We will do our best to suggest the smoothest possible way of dealing with this in these unprecedented circumstances and will do what we can to minimize the negative effects the cancellation of classes might have on the didactic process. As you can imagine, the situation is dynamic, new and sudden also for us as staff coordinating the teaching programs and study curricula. Therefore, thank you for patience. You will hear from your teachers shortly about the details concerning your particular courses and new teaching methods.
In the meantime, please keep calm, take good care of yourselves, practice good hygiene, avoid crowds, and follow the advice and instructions of sanitary-epidemiological services. If anything about the whole situation seems unclear to you, requires explanation, intervention or advice on our part, remember we can always be accessed by phone or by email. Please, keep in mind that due to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education's decision, all student IDs will be valid until May 31st, so you do not have to come to the Institute to prolong them. If it is not necessary, please refrain yourselves from visiting the university premises, including the TAS office, in person.
